ANOTHER WEATHER REPORT
Yesterday we had a heat wave with the temperatures rising to 34 degrees; today the thermometer on my porch says 23. I now know what that song’s lyrics mean when they say a whiter shade of pale, that’s me! I haven’t been for a walk around the pond for two and a half months now and I look like a ghost. I bundled up when I ventured out on the deck to take these pictures and believe me I didn’t stay out there a long time.
Oh, yes, about an hour ago we had a blizzard for about 20 minutes.
There are a few things I want to point out to you about the pictures: This was high tide; make a comparison with the low tide pictures.
Notice the swell under the pier.
Notice the planks broken loose. Not too many piers went without damage.
I’m happy to tell you I have my laptop's back from Apple all fixed. I’ll be able to download pictures for you faster. If it gets to at least 40 degrees I’ll take some pictures of all the ducks in the pond. I have to go outside to do that.
