Winter….I’ll be glad to see you go!!
I woke up this morning to the sound of a snowplow cleaning the street. It was still snowing when we (Franki, my dog, sleeps with me) went to bed. Snow was already covering everything. There’s a street light directly across from my bedroom window and no matter how I adjust the shades it manages to stream into my room. With the help of the snow the room was bright as day so I pulled a pillow over my head. I woke up with the pillow still shutting out the light. Strange experience, at first I thought maybe the snow had covered the widows making the room dark. When I shook of the pillow the sun was streaming into the room. I was so relieved that I immediately got out of bed and looked out the window to one of the most beautiful sights; the birds were flying in, the pond was frozen and there was neatest snowplow job ever. I just knew it was going to be a good day.
I’m hoping this was winter’s last gottcha! I’m so ready for spring! I know you must be ready for some other views then that from my bedroom window.
